About Us
Sharing Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational, faith-based Food Bank in Montrose, Colorado. Our mission is to obtain food from various
sources and distribute it at no cost to those in need — in Montrose as well as other communities on Colorado's Western Slope.

Sharing Ministries Food Bank provides nutritional food to those in need while facilitating education and
connection to other community resources.
OUR VISION
Sharing Ministries Food Bank is a leader within South Western Colorado communities, ensuring those in need
have nutritional food and can work toward self-sufficiency for individuals and their families. The Food Bank was founded in 1996 by Frank and Mary Koenig and operates under the direction of an elected Board of Directors, who
volunteer their time. Many people support Sharing Ministries by volunteering their time to support the daily operations of the
